Oakland University Writing Marathon
 
The Fall and Spring Writing Marathons offer students an opportunity to engage with the campus community, explore their surroundings and epress creativity. As organizer and facilitator, it is my responsibility to advertise the event, encourage students to attend, and ensure the event runs smoothly.

"Constructing a Solid Piece of Writing: Peer Review and Collaboration," in GrizzWrites: A Guide to First-Year Writing at Oakland University
 
My chapter introduces students to the concept of peer review, and instructs them how to be successful collaborators in the composition classroom.

"Using Advertisements in the Composition Classroom," Prezi
 
Developed in The Meadowbrook Writing Project, 2010; Presented at the Side-by-Side Symposium, 2011
 
Designed as a tool for Composition instructors, thi multimedia presentation introduces educators to the concept of using ads and other visual texts to aid in the instruction of basic rhetorical concepts, such as audience analysis, rhetorical appeals and critical thinking.
